I know. I know. It’s mostly true. It’s also mostly false. And thank God too, because somehow, I’ve managed to eke out a pretty successful career for well over 20 years writing it.
My experience writing copy encompasses B2C, B2B, TV, radio, outdoor, print, and digital. I’ve written dang near everything from national broadcast campaigns for big name accounts, and multi-channel regional work, to local car dealer spots, websites, menus, labels and naming projects. I’ve even been known to bust out real estate development flyers and social media posts for a hot dog restaurant.
Texas Lottery to a Texas casino…canned pasta to olive oil to motor oil…whatever the project, I give my all to concept and create ad copy that’s not only compelling and effective, but also most certainly worth the while
of anyone who…you know, actually reads it.
